I had a great experience with Dr Doghor. She is reliable, kind, and professional. She took time to get to know my problem and took the time to really help me. I recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a great psychiatrist.

Dr. Doghor is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. She helped me through a very difficult time in my life and I don’t know how I would have made it through without her help and guidance. Dr. Doghor has spent so much time genuinely getting to know me and provide very personalized care and treatment. Dr. Doghor is also so easy to talk to and is a great listener. She is also great at communicating and highly responsive to phone calls or emails. I highly recommend Dr. Doghor for your psychiatry needs.

About Dr. Doghor
Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist, Professor

I am a Texas native, completing my undergraduate degree in Biology at Prairie View A&M University. I attended medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Afterwards, I completed a General Adult Psychiatry residency at Harvard with a focus on women's mental health.

During my residency training, I did a psychodynamic psychotherapy fellowship at Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I also trained at Massachusetts Mental Health Center with expertise in Dialectical and Cognitive Behavior therapy.

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine where I teach and hold a position as a reproductive psychiatrist at The Pavilion for Women at Texas Children's Hospital. I enjoy the rigor of academic psychiatry and bring evidence based practices into my private practice.

I am an out of network provider and not accepting insurance at this time, to allow for privacy and unrushed care. I can provide you with a superbill to obtain reimbursement from your insurance, if applicable. See "Make an Appointment" for more information on rates.

*Please note that this is a limited psychotherapy practice for adults only seeking primarily therapy not sole medication management. In addition, inquiries related to the Pavilion for Women at TCH,  must be directed to that office at 832-826-5281
