About Dr. Doghor
Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist, Professor
I am a Texas native, completing my undergraduate degree in Biology at Prairie View A&M University. I attended medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Afterwards, I completed a General Adult Psychiatry residency at Harvard with a focus on women's mental health.
During my residency training, I did a psychodynamic psychotherapy fellowship at Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I also trained at Massachusetts Mental Health Center with expertise in Dialectical and Cognitive Behavior therapy.
I am currently an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine where I teach and hold a position as a reproductive psychiatrist at The Pavilion for Women at Texas Children's Hospital.
I enjoy the rigor of academic psychiatry and bring evidence based practices into my private practice.
I am an out of network provider and not accepting insurance at this time, to allow for privacy and unrushed care. I can provide you with a superbill to obtain reimbursement from your insurance, if applicable. See "Make an Appointment" for more information on rates.
*Please note that this is a limited psychotherapy practice for adults only seeking primarily therapy not sole medication management
